Michele Crippa

Gastronome, corporate academy coordinator, and professor of food science, history and culture at ALMA - The International School of Italian Cuisine, the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, Gambero Rosso, and the Rome Business School. 

Lead Auditor on quality management systems and technical-economic consultant for the gastronomy, TV, media and events industry providing R&D and educational activities. 

In 2020, after losing his sense of taste and smell due to Covid-19, he developed a neurosensory rehabilitation programme, which became one of the leading methods in the world, studied by international teams of doctors and neuroscientists. He founded Mind Feel, the world’s first clinic and medical practice specialising in neurosensory disorders. He was awarded the title of “Slow Food Hero” by the European Cultural Foundation and Slow Food International for inspiring resilience and courage during the pandemic.

 

Michele is leading the Food and Health Education ecosystem and contributes to the Research & Innovation Hub to assist MMyWorld, MMySupportive and MoM in establishing upstanding educational programmes and activities that keep people interested, informed, involved, and inspired. He is in charge of developing the educational programmes and platforms to guide people into personalised learning, nutrition and improving overall lifestyle, health, and wellbeing.
